(I had to reupload, because i named it wrong first time.) So this is it. I wanted to do that for a long time, and finally it came to an end. The Vice City Storyes radio stations, including VCPR, wanted by so many in mp3 format, are here for the masses. Enjoy :). And coment. And SEED!!! I will seed for as long as i can, but i can't promise forever. Note: the files are all in mp3 format, vbr, highest quality. ID3 tags are completed from Wikipedia. The game audio was captured by conecting PSP's line-out (headphones) to computer line in. So don't ask if i discovered an at3 to mp3 converter. Because i didn't.

Hi, great upload, i love these shows. Can you explain the ripping procedure? I would like them as close to the originals as possible so no reconversion is done... what is the original file format and can i extract the original file format from the game iso myself?
and when is the liberty stories coming up?
I can't thank you enough for this. I had psp but then bricked it and has been looking for VCPR since then because of this show with the wanking time-travelling guy :)

lcs will come, however i didn't do it by now because i'm too lazy. but, as i said, in not such a big thing: just plug the line-out (headphones) of the psp to computer's with an apropriate cable and play each radio while recording it with an app like nero wave editor. i used soundforge. and when converting make sure you save it in highest quality, vbr, because being rare stuff we can't afford having only medium quality like 192kbps.

i don't think that the original files are compressed at a quallity higher than 192 kbps (this by comparing). just think that there are like a few cd's of music in each of the games, it woult take a lot more than 1.8 gb (the size of a umd) to store those. so there is no wave quality. ofcourse you get a wave file when "capturing" the sound, but just convert it to vbr and you are more than ok ;)
OK I see, I just want the best you know? How would you judge the process from the psp to the wave on the pc? Is a lot of quality lost there or none?

open the .vb files change inpuz hz to 32000 and interleave to 2000
in the output just make sure it is wav.

People can't play at3 files on their pc's are dumb-asses, and no the pc version uses a different codec.

because i don't have a ps2, that's why i can'y do it your way. and the torrent was uploaded when the soundtrack was nowhere to be found. all you was able to find then was shitty collections of mp3's that play in the game (not as in the music is shitty). but no dj's, no comercials and, most of all, no vcpr, wich is actually one of the most wanted stations from the game.
i really think i did the comunity a favour with this, and i really wonder if right now there are other torrents with this soundtrack, that don't originate in this one!

Yes thanks for the upload, you really did a great job, illegal and all;D... anyways yes it's a nice rip you've made. Just bear in mind though that my method is superior (and includes everything your does, djs etc) and I have also ripped Liberty City Stories, which I will upload laterz... Laterez 88
